Couple & Engagment Sessions
My couples session is by far the most popular session. From high school sweethearts, or those ready to unite as one, to the love celebrating 50 years together there is something very special about capturing intimate and compassionate pictures of two people in love! My goal as a photographer is to capture the fun, happy, and emotional side of a relationship and make you as comfortable as possible throughout the session, as it may seem awkward at first!
Throughout the session, we will focus on a variety of poses to express your personalities. We’ll cover the variety of poses, and after editing, you will receive a private access code and pin to view and download all of your photos. After all, who doesn’t love more photos? Please note, a travel fee may apply depending on the shoot location.
Except for the wedding day, there is nothing more special than capturing the moments of an engagement session. It’s a unique opportunity to get great pictures of in love couples, oh, and the beautiful ring! Many people may use these pictures for “Save the Date Invitations”, displays on their wedding day, or just for memory’s sake! My goal as the photographer is to capture these moments that mark the beginning of forever for you and your significant other. The session will be very similar to a couple’s session, however, you know I will want to highlight the ring as much as possible!
For the Couple: $200
The Engagement: $250
The Proposal: $150

Capture your proposal
Not only do we capture regular couple sessions and engagements after the proposal, but we can even take pictures OF the proposal! Most people only ever have the memory in their mind of getting down on one knee, but with Katie Showalter Photography, you could have the memory in photos as well.
Although you may think you could capture the proposal on your iPhone, it may be best to hire a professional for the job. You only get one chance!
